When Hoochy Booch started to make kombucha they wanted their ‘booch to be wildly delicious, fun & humble! With names like Bellini & Blue Valentine, they are full of fun & sass, and health too of course! Brewed locally in the heart of Vancouver BC, it is their passion to produce high-quality, outrageously delicious Kombucha that you feel good about loving.
Hoochy Booch believes healthy guts make happy humans! Why? Because they are living proof! Before Kristin, the founder of Hoochy Booch, found Kombucha she was tired, bloated and “allergic to everything” and the docs wanted to prescribe her pills to “heal”. Stuck in her ways and an avid DIY’er, she took it upon herself to heal herself. Kombucha was the catalyst—the one thing that made the most impact. She’s learned a ton about the gut-brain connection and why healing thy gut is the best thing one can do.

Beverage can design
Hoochy Booch is an extremely popular and well-known kombucha brand in Vancouver BC. They wanted to explore the idea of putting their booch into cans as an andditional option to their refillable glass bottles. This was their opportunity to refresh their brand and bring the true essence of who the team is and what their kombucha stands for. This is where ‘designful hope’ came in, to bring a new lease of life to the packaging of the product.
Working with Hoochy Booch on there brand strategy was the important catalyst that helped us develop who we were talking to, what the competition was, and importantly what their brand heart is. We like to see the brand heart as your purpose, vision, mission and values. All very key points for a brand! Once we had nailed that designfulhope produced a number of concepts that spoke to their target market. We honed into one and the Hoochy Booch cans were born
Hoochy Booch are all about bringing the moments you drink kombucha to life e.g being poolside, enjoying the sunshine on the beach, chilling out in the garden, having a lake day. Kombucha fits into your everyday life. The range includes around 5 different flavours (and more to come).
